Nominations are now open for the 2015 Mining Journal Outstanding Achievement Awards, hosted at Mines and Money London this December.
Held since 2003, the awards – recognised as the most prestigious for global mining investment community – honour the companies and individuals who exhibited outstanding achievement during the previous year.
Industry members are invited to make their nominations in each category before an industry advisory board will choose the winners from a shortlist and present them with their trophies on December 3.
The Categories for 2015 are:

- Corporate Development Award Sponsored by SRK Consulting
- Small & Mid-Cap Deal of The Year Sponsored by Investec
- Large Cap Deal of The Year Sponsored by EY
- AMA Mining Analyst of The Year Sponsored by Yorkville Advisors
- Fund Manager of the Year Sponsored by BMO Capital Markets
- Chief Executive of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award Sponsored by Standard Bank
Nominations can be entered online until September 18.
This year’s awards, sponsored by Silver Wheaton, will take place in a brand new venue; The Hilton on Park Lane.
Every year the event attracts 1,000 industry leaders from all corners of the mining investment world for a glittering evening of entertainment and the opportunity to honour outstanding achievement by industry peers.
Recent winners of the Lifetime Achievement Awards include Andrew Forrest (2011), David Lowell (2012), Ian Henderson (2013) and Dr Richard Sillitoe (2014).
