Dear Colleague,
Over the last 13 years Mines and Money London has been around and evolved from a trade show to arguably the UK’s largest mining investment conference.
This last year we saw the conference attract 2600 attendees including 1000 investors and 1000 representatives from mining companies ranging from exciting exploration projects to the leading majors. Also last year all the various stakeholders came together to remodel the London Mines and Money, recognising that London was a world financial centre – the host home to many of the world’s largest mining companies and if not home then they are listed on the London Stock Exchange!
The result was a fresh new style and approach, keeping the best of the past and combining with clear themes supported by global mining and market expertise and opinions culminating with a banquet and awards evening which fitted with London ‘s claim as a world mining and finance centre.
This year it is the intention to build on last year’s successes and we have managed to again confirm a group of key global miners, fund managers and other experts, amongst which are: Evy Hambro of Blackrock and Joe Wickwire of Fidelity, Pierre Lassonde and Ned Goodman, as well as Marin Katusa and Grant Williams.

I’ve now been coming to Mines and Money London for the last 13 years. With a new approach and given where we find ourselves with regards to the mining industry at large and the commodity prices in general, I am sure you to will find it a worthwhile opportunity to reflect and engage in debate with others as to what is the future of our industry and how can we continue to prosper from being part of it!
